    Hi All,

I will soon be moving to Newbridge and looking for a new doctor. I have heard a few different things about the Women's Health Clinic in Curragh Grange (where I was planning on regisitering) and wondered if anyone would care to share their experiences there?

Also, can anyone tell me how much consultations cost?

Not being a woman, I wouldn't know about the Women's Health Clinic but I'm just about to change to the Newbridge Family Practice on the recommendation of my brother. It's behind Finlay's Garage, which is across from Dunnes Stores.

They have one permanent male doctor and two permanent female doctors, and usually have a few locums there too. (My current doctor works alone, and I've only seen him 4 times in the last 10 years anyway). One of the female doctors specialises in women's health, according to their website.

Thanks very much for that info, very helpful! It would probably be a better idea as the other half will need a doctor too so we could register at the same place. I'll give them a call!

Newbridge Family Practice is a good choice. Dr Michael McDonnell is great.

There is a general doctors practice under the women s health center.
I moved to that doctor from Newbridge family practice.
from what I can tell there is 2 doctors in the practice with one specializing in female health.
I have also attended the Doctor in the women's health center think it was the same price as a normal doctors visit -€60? She has all the equipment in the practice - scanner etc.
