    Hey guys,

approx 12 weeks ago my partner had a fall in a shop where there was spillage on the floor.

when the incident happened she went to hospital and her ankle and back where x rayed.. nothing broken thank god

it turns out she suffered ligament damage to the ankle and possible disc damage to her lower back.

she was out of work for 2 weeks with no being able to walk

cctv shows that the shop was at fault

    the owner has admitted liability

do you think she should pursue this legally and how much would she be expected to receive

    hospital fees 100

    physio 60 X 7 = 420

she is confused as what to do.... and feels bad for the shop owner!!

Surely she could make a claim against the shop's public liability insurance.

Then she should file it in her head as a bad experience and try to forget about it.

If you are worried about getting some money for the bills then go to the shop keeper/owner and ask them to cover same. If they refuse then get some legal advice off a professional solicitor.
