    So I have an overbite which can be corrected with surgery but would be purely cosmetic. I will be getting braces anyway.

    The jaw line needs to be shifted to correct.

    Would any of the dentists/orthodontists out there recommend this procedure ?

    How common is the procedure ?

    What is the pain and recovery period ?
