Lenovo announces a new Windows 8 tablet

The Thinkpad 8, which is an 8.3 inch screened tablet with "business" specs i.e. it's more expensive . However, it does have full HD and increased storage, up to 128 GB. Available end of January, from $399 (no idea what the euro gouge will be)

its gonna be a tough call between this and the dell venue pro 8.

This is the one for me I think, thankfully I didn't go for the Dell before Christmas. Deciding factors are:

• Full HD screen
• USB 3.0 out that can be used for video out
• 64GB HD minimum
• It's Lenovo, not Dell
• The cover is really a nice trick

I'm thinking the same, don't think I'm too bothered about the absence of a stylus......I don't think I would have used it much

That's a pretty nice cover, its included? I wonder would it be sturdy enough to prop up the tablet on a table for watching videos

apparently not included - will cost and extra $49

Not bothered about the cover. Looks like a nice tablet, though while the screen is 1080p from the video the colors and backwash looks a little iffy.

Good possibility I'll be getting this when it comes out if the screen is a tad better.
