    Hi,
I finished college with a degree in Archaeology and English. Hoping to get into second level teaching in Northern Ireland for English. (Didnt appply to the South because thought it be harder as I have really only one subject)
At the moment Im also a voluntary Adult literacy tutor. But recently I got asked to give grinds for a family friend son for Ordinary level History all he wants is a pass because do to a shortage of interest hes doing the subject himself. I did the new edition of the paper at Higher level in 2010 so still have all my books and notes. And I feel confident that I know the subject area well and the exam paper even though my degree is in Archaeology I have taken two history modules and these areas feature in the exam paper.
Just looking for some tips? And because Im not properly qualified was wondering would 20 euro an hour be okay to charge you think or am I being unfair?

I charge £20 (€24) per hour as a qualified teacher in England. So it seems ok, given the cost of living is higher where you are. Ultimately if they pay it, then you're worth it...

Btw if you want to become a teacher it might be worth applying to PGCE courses in England as well as NI as there are many many more places in universities here.
