QRS

Not sure were to put this so have to start a new thread.

I was just looking back on Golfnet for the year and I noticed that one of the winter rounds in the club comp was classified QRS, which I believe is Qualifying Reduction Scoring (basically you can only get cut)
    I think that is right?

Anyway, the round in question was on the 14th December and I remember it quite well as it was the only round of golf that I haven't enjoyed.
It was played in storm conditions and it was the round that I posted about previously where my playing partner wanted to stick it out (for his 19 points and a chance at the 2's  ) and rather than calling a ranger I stayed out there with him...walking in the last few holes.

Does anyone know why this round would have been classified QRS among all the non counting rounds either side of it?
We were last in for that round that day and we were told that there was only about 10 cards handed in. It was by far and away the worst conditions of the year and we were playing under winter rules.

The CSS was 75, the winner had 31 points thus nobody would have got a reduction/cut.
Wondering if it was a simple miss classification to put it down as QRS seeing that it affected nobody?

I'll ask the lads in the clubhouse at the weekend but if anyone has any clue in the meantime it'd be great.

I'd say it was just a mistake when it was posted to the GUI website. If you are placing ever where then the comp can't be used for a handicap reduction.
