Any buttlerstown buddy offspring I saw were very small with snipey heads on them and skinny scitters! Anyway there is very little buddy in your pups so maybe its not that surprising.

so being taking the pup along for a few hunts lately and decided to give her a run today and i can tell u today was the day that something clicked,we went to a plantation where the cover in places was unreal and very hard going for any dog ,well i can tell u that this pup made it look easy she went through cover that u would have to see to believe .it was so heavy in places that u could not see her only hear her .she hunted two woodcock and retrieved one on the blind from hard cover which she winded ,brazzill was with me and was surprised at her capabililty, this one is going to be a good one:D:D:D:D the pic is on the way out i will be getting videos with hatcam next week

Ya Buddy was a fantastic hunter but most of what he sired were very shy and light boned whippets. This is a well know fact, he covered a lot of poor bitches and rarely got the chance to cover a good bitch. Buddys sister was an Int Ftch if I remember correctly. Buddy himself did sire a dog that came 3rd in the irish championship. Anyway I am sure your dog is a flier so don't take offence, buddy was a savage in briars but he covered so many ****e bitches that he has nearly ruined the gene pool of spaniels in Ireland with the buddy prefix contained in a lot of poor litters. Just my opinion but a lot of trialing men would agree. he was a very good dog himself bred out of Bramble taff but buddy just got his leg over too many times!

Id agree he was put to plenty goid bitches aswell so no excuse but im sure he threw some good stuff he was an ugly bastard ,, deffinitly no offence taken a spade is a spade at the end of the day I dont think he is in hollydrive kirts or theos pedigrees must check would say a lot if hes not

I would say he is a full uncle to the two dogs you have mentioned above on the mothers side.

Anyway If you have a bitch bred off a litter brother she must be a very good dog as she has serious breeding in her.

The main thing is we are getting shooting, look out for Poppet Rocket, she should be the mother of Hollodrive theo. Anyway Poppet Rocket is Butlerstown Buddys Full sister.

So you might see Bramble taff way back

    Nice one well done.

True you don't need papers but breeding really helps and that's what I am on about! Best dog I have ever seen is a sprocker but he would pass as a cocker no probs. If we got papers for him he would be a british champ with opie:D
