Hi Everybody, I live in apartment and i'm not allowed to put up a satellite to receive uk tv. I have a upc box coming into the house for broadband but I don't want to pay for uk tv.

Is there any other way to receive uk tv channels?

    Thanks in advance

Without a satellite dish its difficult but I have seen some Android type boxes that use web feeds. Maybe someone on the computer forum can help you with this.

Desktop PC Boards discount code on https://www.satellite.ie/ is boards.ie

Get an android TV box and install the filmon free app for free uk tv in standard definition. Android boxes can be bought from a number of Chinese websites e.g.Aliexpress for 50 Euro or so. Many will also run XBMC which is an app that gives free on demand streaming of movies and TV shows. I'd recommend the MX2 android box which can be bought for 70 USD or so.

Do you have a south/southeast facing balcony or window? If yes, you may be able to discreetly place a dish on the balcony or else behind the window.

For the marginal cost of the basic UPC service, given you have BB, it is hardly worth buying a dish, another box etc.

We might be careful what we are advising here, nothing of dubious legality please

But the cable belongs to UPC. You can't use it.

It can be done with appropriate diplexers at both ends. But you are not helping suggesting doing something illegal. That cable is property of UPC. There are also issues of isolation from their network and earth loops.
