If you go to delete your history there's a yellow box that says "Psst, you may want to use the incognito window next time" Or something like that..... it's for porn. That's the main function.

Porn, multiple gmail/facebook accounts, browsing that I don't want to show up in history or in autofill searching from google, checking things on amazon that I don't want to get last viewed or recommended purchase options for just cos I checked the price of something stupid.

I myself use it for youtube, I hate the way when you go on youtube and you have your g-mail account logged in you have an automatically youtube account logged in as well, so when I am looking up say something that others might find weird (such as types of songs) it stores the history on youtube and then shows up in recommended and in the top corner of your history section, so the only way is to log off my gmail account which comes quite annoying time to time

Translation: I stayed at the parents house over the Christmas (I moved away due to work years ago), I decided to knock one out for old times sake, didn't even have to bother going to the control panel to delete the browsing history after my ****.... Times have in fact changed

They copped on to misuse because browser history was always cleared so using incognito window solves that problem .. Normal browser open for work related stuff and incognito beside it for Facebook and boards!

Porn and reading about celebs and their stupidness. Or anything I know that can be shared on one of my many walls that I have automatically set up. Like when I read cnet that goes to twitter or YouTube to twitter and facebook. Sometimes I can just do without the hassle from friends
