Would this be a good buy, Merc A140? Do they cost more on servicing and parts
    than a Yaris?
Have just over €2000 to spend on a cheap runaround
and so far have been looking at Yaris and Suzuki Ignis
need something a bit high due to back problems.
    Any advice appreciated
    Thank you

If your priority is running costs and reliability then you are better off with the jap stuff.

I agree with George... and I own an A140. Not a bad car, but not going to be as cheap to run as a Yaris, especially if there are problems. I know from experience.

And if going for a Suzuki the Liana(a slightly bigger car) is far superior than an Ignis which is somewhat GM influenced.
