Hi guys, this is my first post so i apologise if im doin it wrong.

I have always struggled with finding nice, well fitting bras. Quite frankly it's depressing. I know im a 34GG/H but my problem is that im at that size now where its next to impossible to find a supportive, pretty bra in my size. Im sick of only wearing plain black, white and nude colours and i cant stand netted bras. I feel naked in them. But those are the only choices i seem to have where i live (waterford).
What im asking is, does anyone know of any shops in the country that do my size and that are cute and actually suits my age bracket (20's). I dont want to go down the online shopping route since id much rather be able to try them on.
    Thanks for reading.

Have you tried Shaw's in Waterford? The only place I can really think down here that might help. Penny's, but I suspect you tried there?

Your better heading to a lingerie shop so, which would be Cork or Dublin. Waterford isn't great as you figured! No doubt someone here will give you a better idea of where to go. Best of luck!

You should make a trip up to Pauline in Intimate Lingerie on Tara Street in Dublin. She is a brilliant fitter and she has a great range of pretty bras as well as the strictly functional. You need to make an appointment though.

You'll need to come to Dublin, or else go online shopping with the likes of Bravissimo

Have you tried Debenhams in Waterford City? They sell a range called gorgeous that would have your size. They also sell a brand called Freya that has nice colourful bras in your size. (If you checkout the Debenhams website you will be able to see a lot of the bras they stock. They probably won't have all of these in store but usually you can ask them to order in one that you like if they don't have it).

If you are going up to Dublin it is worthwhile checking out Arnotts and Marks and Spencer's, I have bought a number of bras in pretty colours lace etc from them in a large cup size.

I know that you aren't keen on ordering online but I have ordered a few times from bravissimo before and they were very good about taking returns back if the bras / swimsuits did not fit right.

I have exactly the same problem as you Shaws too dowdy and pennys and Dunnes not stocking the size! Lately I bought some of the Floozie range in Debenhams upstairs have a look online at the range. There is the small shop Ahvage in Georges Court I haven't been in there recently so not sure what range they carry! Other than that Dublin is your best bet I'm only back from another shopping trip seriously lack of shops in Waterford catering for 20/30 year olds!

Having tried every brand in the world!!! I fell in love with bras from Bramora. Great for pretty bras & swimwear. I travelled to Dublin specifically last week to purchase more but found to my horror they have closed their store in Stephens Green :(
They are still operating online but I miss being able to try on the bras for my generous bust.

Freya are poor beyond a G/GG cup - the construction of their bras changes at around that size and the wires that they use for their GG-K ranges are often a little weak for the sheer weight of boob they need to support. I'm a similar cup size to the OP but a 30/32 band and I favour Panache, Cleo and to a lesser extent Curvy Kate.

Gorgeous sizing can be irregular - be prepared to take in 3 sizes of the same bra when trying them on, but they do have some nice stuff and it is very good value in the sales.

Bravissimo are absolutely fantastic - if you happen to be in the UK any time soon it's well worth paying one of their stores a visit. Their clothes are well worth a look too, some nice dresses with decent boob room to be had.

That said - the fitting guide on this subreddit gives me identical results to the fitters at Bravissimo in Covent Garden, and there's a hell of a lot of useful information there.
