Personally wouldn't touch the walker tvs.....most are poor in my opinion but for that price hard to believe it has a combined tuner. I find most cheap tv's have very thin sound from the speakers but for a bedroom I guess the choice is your own but I would recommend trying to get a demo on each tv before you purchase.

I have a walker tv in my kitchen, had it now 6/7 years, sometimes I have to turn it off and back on again but it works great, 99% of the time, can't remember cost but was cheap. Would I buy a walker tv again.....?. No prob not.

Thanks for posting ...... a demo will not be possible.
It is likely that a lot of the time the sound will be sent to headphones so as not to disturb SWMBO :D
So I won't worry too much about the sound.

TV arrived ....... and yes it is light and probably not very rugged, but hopefully it won't need to be ..... unlikely to be moved.

I haven't tried the Sat input but the DTT input works.
Picture is fine .... good in fact.
Sound is better than expected ..... it has an equaliser which helps.

Set up a temporary wire for the LAN and hooked up a R-Pi ....... all channels playing from the HTPC, so no stress about lack of Sat cable for the present.

I tried wireless with the R-Pi, but the display became blocky at times on HD channels.
Going to the wired connection sorted that.

I have a lot of tidying up to do with wires etc, but at least I am set up for viewing and recording all channels (DTT & Sat) from the bedroom.

Quite pleased so far ...... next job on the list is to try to do all this with one remote ..... after I get the wiring tidied of course :D
