Changing it up a bit. Today, I was stuck at a T junction entering two lines of back to back traffic with no lights and therefore slim chance of forward progress especially as I was going right. When I was about to turn the engine off and walk some kind person stopped and let me in. Cheers to you if you're out there. Not all bad

Indicate correctly at roundabouts, oh and when someone gets out of their car in traffic to tell you that you have a flat tyre!

Sometimes they let you out in front of them and that's very nice

    Let you out.
Flash their lights if there is a speed camera ahead.
Use their indicators in good time.
Giving you space when parking on a busy road.

Give you a little wave when you let them out in front of you.

Alert you to hazards on the road ahead by giving a flash or hand signal. Handy after all the storms we've had.

That's actually one of the things that I hate, I saw a youngfella on a bike decapitated coming out of his driveway, because someone had decided to drive on the hard shoulder to let traffic past.:(

Thanks! Most other motorists are really courteous to mini drivers I've found

Drive at a decent speed on their own side of the road. Some road hogs around these parts, a bike wouldn't pass them safely

It's one of the easiest things to do, but means a lot! I do get a little irritated when someone doesn't wave/flash indicators when I let them out and always think "eff you"

Give you their parking ticket when leaving if they have time remaining on it.

Drivers who pull into a parking space beside you, but then realize that they have not left room for you to get into/out of your car, so they back out and start over again, to leave enough room between your car and theirs. :)

There is a special place in hell for drivers who couldn't be arsed doing the above.

Acknowledging cars around bends by seeing the other cars lights and turning their high lights off just before coming around a bend instead of waiting until they blind you for a second first.

Someone stops at your house to tell you you've left the lights on. Saves you waking up to a flat battery

Beep and slow down when they see a pigeon standing in the road rather than just running him or her over.

People who let me out, and people who acknowledge me letting them out with a smile or a wave.

People who slow down and roll down the window to let you know there's a huge traffic jam or accident or flood up ahead and give you a chance to turn around before you're stuck.

The parking ticket thing, using indicators properly, general politeness.

    All good things.

To the woman who, when I gestured that her hubcap was about to spin off replied with a very rudey word and rudier gesture, you are a very bad person and I hope you lose all your hubcaps.:(

Should probably have put that last part in the other thread.
