    Hi all.

Wondering if anyone has a PASoft scanner that I could either buy or borrow to scan my E46 that has the "bifecta of death". (Dublin Area)

    Long shot, but worth trying!

    David

Hey, many thanks for the reply.

So, I had my NCT re-test on Wednesday, and the Car went into the re-test with the warning lights still on, and came out with the warning lights gone, and the car passed!

    I have a few theory's,

    1. It was a complete fluke and the warning lights went off on their own
    2. The NCT testing equipment somehow reset the warnings
    3. The NCT tester knew a quick fix.

So, I don't actually need a scan at the minute, but if the lights come back on, I might give you a shout!

What's the problem with the car. The next centre don't have anything to reset the diagnostics nor do they do any quick fixes to help you pass the test. So if u could tell you the problem I could tell u what it is we work on these cars day in day out

Like I said, the warning lights are off, so at this point in time there is nothing wrong.

However if you're interested, this is the thread I started on e46fanatics with all the details I had about the problem.
