Hi I'm travelling to the US for a week and the hotel I'm staying at only has wired internet. I won't be bringing a laptop, just an iPhone and an iPad. I'm looking at this product on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-WR702N-Wireless-Extender-Set-top/dp/B006PYGWG6/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
I'm pretty poor when it comes to technology so I'm hoping some one can advise me. Can I just take it from the box and plug this in to the wired internet socket and I have my own wifi within the hotel room? Or is there some kind of set up involved? I'm kind of confused reading the reviews as people are using it for various purposes and giving all kinds of tips. Thanks :)

Hi, I have one, excellent device. No set up required as it ships with access point as default.

All you need is Ethernet cable and obviously a British to USA plug adaptor. Plug in, the devices SSID and password is printed on it.

Thanks so much Paul. That's exactly what I'm looking for, plug it in and go :)
