I recently got started in investing in UCITS via rabo

On there website it says that all purchases have to be informed to the revenue

Cant find any mention elsewhere, can anyone shed some light?

Would you not ask rabo? I'd imagine it's for paying CGT or carrying losses..

Dont think losses on UCITS can be carried forward or offset against funds in profit?

No idea. Don't follow the product. More of a general answer I was giving.

Informing Revenue re a purchase at the time of purchase? Honestly I doubt they'd be interested.

I reckon it refers to informing them of the purchase date and quantity etc. but only when you cash out of the fund- for calculating CGT. But don't rely on my word. You need to contact Rabo/Revenue to clarify for sure.
