    Hi
I was just doing my medical tax credit claim for 2013 when i noticed the Flat Rate expense credit.
Mine said €153 and on further inspection i found out that this for for my job which they think is a electrician(Building and related trades)
I used to work for electrical contractors till 2007. I then joined a factory which manufactures.
They have up skilled me with various courses since.
Im thinking that i should be entitled to be in the Engineering and electrical section and on the €331 rate as i have to buy my own tools.
Ive this change done online but will they no come and ask me to prove this?
Will i get a refund if im now on the right rate?
    Thanks
