    Hi,

I recently got the guitar out again after a long brake, i was never really good but now i find i have time to practice so giving it another go.

Problem is i broke a string and decided to replace the set, in doing do i found one peg was stick long story short i snapped it while getting it out.

I have gone to two shops (Waltons in blanch and the one out by the N7 behind the red cow hotel Xmusic i think) any way both shops have standard size pegs which are two small for the holes in my bridge- is this a common problem?

    So my questions:

are there other sizes available in dublin store

if i cant get them has anyone ever 'padded' a small peg to make it fit

Is there a online site anyone can reccomend that i could source the pegs?

My guitar is a Fender dg-5ceblk

    Thanks in advance

Did you try pegs for acoustic bass.

in an emergency just turn the pin (they're called pins not pegs, OK?) so that the string doesn't run through the slot in the pin.

then google outsize or over size pins.

I know that Stewmac in the US do them, there are bound to be folks closer that do them too.

Music Maker on Exchequer Street stock Fender acoustics, so it might be worthwhile paying them a visit to see if they have something!
