Barriers across the street but cars can fit on the pathway or lawn... Just wondering why 200m detour is too difficult for some sort of drivers... Maybe too expensive on petrol?

Is there signage ahead of the flood to warn motorists that the road is closed? If so then some people really are bell ends.

The road is sealed at both ends, however someone moves one of the barriers each day to get their car through - I assume a different bell-end each day - making it appear as if limited access is permitted.

Is it really necessary to close the road?? There isn't that much water there :/

Yes, for pedestrians and meadowcourt tenants safety. I pass this place few times a day and i have seen many drivers who accelerate when they see water on the street.
