I used to have mallard and widgeon FUDs but didn't like them. Started splitting and sinking when wet. Went back to the plastic ones.

i find the shell decoys to be very good with the cradles on them so the move slightly in the wind ,the fud decoys i think are ok but one thing i found was they got lost in the stuble fields you could just about see them compared to the shell decoys which where up and been seen and there not too bad to carry on a long trip either .the pigeon fuds would work best on a field that has just been ploughed or just sown

I have no probs with them lasting! If you just give them a rub of a dry cloth and keep them somewhere dry at home, they seem to be perfect to me.in a shoe box at home under a radiator in my spare room is where I keep decoys and can't see any fading, cracking or the likes

Exactly the same for me, never used any other type of decoy to compare.
Fit into backpack with nets etc.
