Hi just wondering if anyone gets the 6.50 am bus from Kilmoon to Dublin Beresford avenue arriving there at 8.00 am... I am starting a new job on O Connell street and need to be there just before my 8 am start would this bus get me there in time as I know it stops at O Connell street before going on to Beresford Avenue I'm not very familiar with Dublin city centre so any help would be appreciated I'm just a little worried I wont get there on time the other alternative I have is a 6.30 am bus but as I have a drive to the bus stop the 6.50 would be better for me... :) thank you

    Beresford avenue
    Beresford Place. :)

Both these departures seem to start from Kilmoon Cross.

The 06:50 is listed as arriving at O'Connell Street at 07:53. If it is a new job, I would get the earlier bus for the moment.

I really, really recommend doing a test run before you start your job, and if you are able to read a map get one of Dublin. Be familiar with bus times and your route from the bus terminus to your job and anything else you'd like to do nearby. It's a life skill, folks!

The 06.50 would usually be at O'Connell Street at around 07.45. Mondays can be a bit slower and just in case there is a delay I would say for the first day of a new job the earlier bus would be a better option. But for regular commuting the 06.50 would be fine.

The 06.30 is not as busy and will be quicker, around 50 minutes. Plenty of time to relax and get a coffee before starting.

Well if it's Monday morning 06th January remember that all the schools are back today so the traffic will be alot heavier than has been the last 2 weeks. Maybe not at 7am but it will be alot busier than usual that's for sure. Better off getting the 06.30am bus and that should get to O'Connell Street at 07.30/07.40am. Remember that that bus (route 103) has alot of stops along the route, and every stop will have quite a few people at it all going to work/college/school and that will slow down your journey even more. And those double decker buses on route 103 are very slow, they are limited to only 65 kph, so you won't make up any time on them. The 06.50am bus might not get you there until 8am or 08.10am the 06.30am bus should have you there at about 07.30/07.35am. Don't risk your first day for the sake of leaving 20 mins early. If you get into the city centre at 07.30am run across the road to Mc Donalds and grab a coffee, or maybe the Kylemore cafe might be open at that time but i'm not sure.Get the 06.30am but the best idea was to do one or two test runs first, like the Banjoxed said.
