Hi I'm looking into doing some weight training and am looking into buying a home gym from Argos there is range of different makes from maximuscle home gym to York home gym, pro power home gym etc... I'm just wondering are these home gyms any good? Or would I be better off buying a bench press and some free weights?

    This.

Because if you ever want to sell it on, there'll be a market for it. There's hardly any interest in the Argos stuff in the second hand market. Not to mention that you'll soon outgrow the Argos stuff, and that the quality wouldn't be the best.
