It's rare I say it but well done RTE for this evenings entertainment.

Moneyball (Brad Pitt) and now Top Gun (Tom Cruise).

    Well done.

It was a nice surprise, I was raking my brains of what to download to watch. NO NEED, minimal effort. Deadly.

Well done my arse. It doesn't take much creativity to buy a couple of films and use up most of an evening showing them.

Elf, Moneyball, Top Gun, Drive, Reservoir Dogs, Sherlock Holmes, Payback, Enough, Pineapple Express, Snatch, Hot Tub Time Machine etc.

Couldn't believe the amount of movies on last night.. all between 8pm and midnight. Was nice for a change tbh!

I don't know how anyone can watch movies on the likes of RTE. They're constant putting on advertisements in between completely detracts from any enjoyment I get from said movie.

Channel fills space with routine Hollywood films you can see any numbers of times every year - big swinging mickey!

To be honest.. if I'm planning to watch a show or something live on RTÉ or anything with constant breaks (rare enough as it is), Sky+ it and start watching about 15-20 minutes in fast-forwarding breaks.

I time shift so I can skip the ads. Thought most would too

    Baseball is dire.
Moneyball is not just a great sport film, its a terrific film around.

Considering RTE2 seems to be run by 1 person pressing play on tapes, what do the other 2,200 RTE staff do?
