    Hi Everyone

I'm new to this boards .ie, so I hope i'm doing this correctly.

Wondering if anybody has had any serious issues with privately run nursing homes? by serious i mean misuse of residents monies, falsifying invoices, and to compound matters a very serious case of neglect. HIQA useless, like a dog with no teeth, all bark and no bite. They have no remit to investigate individual cases. HSE said money issue a private matter between provider and resident(mother), so have gone down legal route with that.

So just wondering if anyone has had any similar issues and how they dealt with them?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Could you speak to gp or hse case manager? Ncpop.ie may be a good resource for you to get some more information. You may have better luck posting this in PI and not the limerick forum

    Hi panda100
thanks for your reply , not sure what you mean by posting it in pi, case worker for area in question moved to another area so new person passing buck to old one who seems to have gone to ground ( feels like they are just fobbing me off ).
will check with ncpop.ie, thanks for that
