Fis payments stopped

    Any idea why our Fis payment was stopped without any warning . It was last paid on 10th dec , and we are only in it since oct . Nothing has changed in terms of our working hours or wages so we have no idea as to why it stopped

    couldn't be paid on 10/12/13 as that is a Tuesday.

    when is your end date,did you apply in October ?

    Have you changed jobs ?

    Is your 52 week period up ,when is your end date?

    Are you still working or have you changed jobs ?


    No 52 weeks is not up yet , will be next sept14 or Oct 14 not sure as we waiting a good few weeks to get it with no back payment . But a good 10 months left .

    And yes still working above the 19 hours needed and nope didn't change jobs .

    ring or email them Monday.How come you have waited almost a month to check it out,it's probably something simple that can be rectified in a few minutes.
    Did you or your OH apply for any other scheme?

    No we didnt , and OH only got bank statement now and we checked . Do they not write to inform reason/s why people get stopped

    they would write to you depending on the circumstances but it can often be the case info has been received from other section/dept. and an auto stop is placed on the payment.Its up to the customer to make sure they are receiving payments.
    best to ring/email them.

    Still this is after putting all of direct debit to bits , cant see what other section/dept would have stopped it for us as like i said nothing at all has changed .

    I'm not saying that's what happened but its a possibility and the only way to find out the problem and sort it out is to ring/email them.

    Its the customers responsibility to ensure they are receiving their entitlement. A month is a long time to go without checking statements/accounts .

    Well it,s not a month , thats your statement from the start . I never said we didn't look , we looking around the 16th and again today so thats 18 days just over half a month . And when we didn't get any letters it never dawned on us that it was stopped . And yes we will ring first thing on Monday and i am just hoping some over sight of some sort .

    Hi sorry if i came across as been defensive , it,s been along day and just got on top of me sorry if i gave off the wrong feelings . I take your advise and will ring on Monday . Very sorry again if i offended you in any ways :o

    It happened to me once. The company I was working for was split into two separate companies and p45's were issued for each employee and some were moved to each company.My employment continued but fis got wind of this p45 having being issued and stopped my payment. I rang them and in fairness they were very good and I got sorted the following Thursday. I always found the fis people very nice to deal with. Give them a ring as soon as you can.
