Where are all the (gay) cowboys gone?

I have a friend, who shall remain nameless or else I'll be murdered, who is in his mid-late twenties, in good shape, funny, successful, outgoing etc etc.

He meets a lot of guys on the 'scene' but it never seems to work out, most of the time they're immature or just too interested in partying etc. He's tried the usual dating sites, but it's just men looking for casual hookups and seems impossible to meet someone where there's a mutual attraction and both want the same things.

Can anybody suggest any other ways to meet guys in the gay world? Ideally they wouldn't be big into the gay scene but then that rules out any chance of ever actually MEETING them :eek:

Sorry OP but this is not the dating forum. Relationship issues is for people with relationship issues to come seek advice, no matter how well intentioned you are your friend might very well be happy in their choices.

Suggest you point him either in the direction of the Online dating forum or the LGBT forum, but this forum is not the right forum for this type of 3rd party advice.
