This is a bit complicated but here goes... Presently I am working as an intern for a company A, Monday-Wednesday 9-4pm, but also work a paid job in a different company B, Monday to Friday 5-9pm (20 hour contract but over 5 days). The problem is I am just wrecked and the intern company has offered me a 20 hour contract on commission based, not a salary... so my question is, if I left company B, and took the intern which is commission based, am I entitled to JSA or anything of the sort. I've never claimed anything before and when I went into the social welfare office to enquire, i was indirectly told to "f**k off, sure you've 2 bloody jobs", but she didnt listen to me before I could actually explain that one of the jobs is an Internship. (not jobbridge). so I am now 24, 25 in March, so can anyone help me again? I get confused over claiming etc.

JSA and JSB are for people who are unemployed and actively seeking full time employment. You would not qualify as you are neither of the above. It is your choice to change your working conditions it's is not up to the state to support your career choice.
