    I'm still not convinced by the Pi as a decent Mame host.

    It seems to be fairly limited to very old games and a Jamma 60-1 is probably just as cheap these days without the hassle (or fun, depends on your perspective)

    I've used the likes of RetroPie a fair bit and it's actually not that bad. Obviously it's not going to be able to emulate the likes of a Tekken 3 board or anything like that but it runs the likes of The Simpsons, TMNT and Street Fighter pretty well.

    Cool, emulators have improved a good bit so. Guy I sold that bartop shell to was putting in a rasppi into it wonder how he gone on with it..

    My guy in the UK might be sending me over a few prototype kits to test out for him, thinking of doing a 'build your own bartop arcade unit with a Raspberry Pi' type video if it ever does happen.
