    Did anybody else see this last night?

    Really good documentary from Jeremy Clarkson. Terrible leadership from the admiral, inspiring actions from the inexperienced Gradwell and moving testimony from the men who told their stories.

    Very good viewing.

    More lions lead by donkeys.

    And I'm always struck by the veterans of WW2 discussing their times with such stoicism & nobility.

    Hopefully it is repeated because it was well worth a watch.

    Typical Clarkson documentary - in other words very well done! Part of a sequence that started with his profile of Brunel and went through programmes on Operation Market Garden and The Raid on St Nazaire.

    I missed this last night but it is repeated.

    Very good watch. Some interesting details as regards the various rules about cargo/payment. Must catch up on some of the other documentaries mentioned.
