    And is it still on? Found flights to dubai last week for five hundred return, minimum seems to be 650 now . . .I can't remember where I saw the flights !

    I got an email from Etihad about a sale, only a certain number of seats for each flight go for a reduced price so the deal you saw may be all gone for those dates.

    Have you tried using Skyscanner.ie? You should find something for 500 return if your dates are flexible.

    Etihad were advertising a sale on the radio yesterday. Cheapest seats will always sell out fast though
