I am hoping this is the year that I get transport sorted and get back into competing. Have you set any goals for the year ahead?

Improve my riding generally and get fitter/stronger
Take my mare to a few shows hopefully
    Get back into hunting properly
Invest in a decent pair of long leather boots
    Try side saddle riding :D

My goals for this year are in no particular order. Get at least one or two beach rides in, also do some cross country again, its been about 10 years since i have done either, and the absolute long shot is to maybe get a horse of my own, but i think the last one is a pipe dream.

A beach ride is something I've been promising the kids for a few years now and we are definitely going to do one this year. We go to Enniscrone for a weekend or two during the year so gonna try do it there. Will have to get back up myself first though which should be fun.

We're registering two ponies for show jumping this year too so gonna be a busy year! Here's hoping all goes well!

Enniscrone is beautiful, they will have a ball doing it there. The stables that I use normally go to Rusheen Bay in Galway.

Complete an EI Intro is the first goal and by the end of the year I'd like me and my noble steed to be competitive at Sportsman C :)

Rusheen Bay Riding School is closed now I'm afraid!

Oh sorry I misunderstood what you meant, it's a nice beach to ride about on :)
