First time i done an ante post yankee for cheltenham a few months ago, what happens if one or two of the horses dont turn up? Does it go down to a treble or is the bet down?

    Bobs worth - g.cup
    Cue card - ryanair
    Big Bucks - w.hurdle
    C.fever - arkle

Just wondering incase fever goes elsewhere and bucks doesnt make it.

Any bet with a non runner is a loss.

You could do the 4 big races now with Bet365 NRNB.

Correct me if Im wrong but NRNB only applies to single and there is a limit?
The only way I would bet ante post would be a single NRNB to ensure i would be covered. Even then Id probably wait till nearer the time. What is it they say? Long way from the cup to the mouth..
Too many factors to take into account such as weather , jockey bookings, stable jockey sackings etc

Wow, what a crazy bet!! You've made 11 bets but if 1 of your horses is a NR (or runs in a race other than that specified by you) you immediately lose 7 of them. Yankees are a bad idea at the best of times but to do an ante-post yankee for Cheltenham before Christmas is crazy stuff!

    No offence like .......

Hope it comes up for you. Quieten the knockers. Those bets are ok for small stakes on a day you are collecting a few €.

It was only a tenner like.

AFAIK nrnb is the same as betting on the day.

Im not too sure , Im always careful about placing bets like this and do not take the advice of the person behind the counter. If online i will check via txt support. It would be interesting if somebody could clarify it
Sorry if going off topic but you might find this case interesting

    Yakee 1euro - 11 euro Total

    Plinth -Triumpth 20/1
The Tullow Tank - Supreme 12/1
    Benefficient - Ryanair 6/1
    Oscar whisky - JLT 8/1

Here's my attempt of a winner winner chicken dinner.

If your doing yankee / lucky 15 etc antepost then select the markets nrnb, if one doesn't line up works out actually better than a loser in a bet I know this as I had 3 winners on an antepost non runner lucky 15 before just for spare change at Cheltenham and cleared 6 grand off 3 wins and the non runner, the amount would have been lower if the horse lined up and lost but obviously would have been higher if won or placed.

That's not a bad looking yankee nero123, I was checking the Triumph form last evening and Plinth sure does look useful but there is also another 6-7 in the race that also look good to myself, after another few hurdle races, I will be clearer on that race.

I usually throw a few together in a 45c e/w yankees in the off chance that 3 or 4 click or reach the top 3, It works out at less than a tenner and can have a good bit of excitement if 1 or 2 go in early on waiting on the others to run.

    - apologies if the below doesn't paste correctly I've copied it from my excel sheet.

Yankee My Tent Or Yours, Zarkander, Rock On Ruby, Rubi Ball Multiple .45 e/w 9.90 8,259 400 7859 Skybet NRNB

Yankee Our Conor, Captain Conan, Rule The World, Lyreen Legend Multiple .45 e/w 9.90 23,276 400 22876 Skybet NRNB

Yankee Lyreen Legend, Zarkander, My Tent Or Yours, Shutthefrontdoor Multiple .45 e/w 9.90 23,288 400 22888 Skybet NRNB

Yankee Last Instalment, Rubi Ball, Morning Assembly, Red Sherlock Multiple .45 e/w 9.90 19,055 400 18655 Skybet NRNB

Yankee Our Conor, Briar Hill, Kings Palace, Captain Conan Multiple .45 e/w 9.90 2,850 400 2450 Betvictor NRFB*

Yankee Deputy Dan, Kings Palace, Hinterland, Carlingford Lough Multiple .45 e/w 9.90 8,100 400 7700 Betvictor NRFB*

I'm not 100% sure on the policy of Victors with multiples in the NRFB offers but decided to go with them for those races and will see how it works out

They will be classed as Losers in the nominated races unless there is some kind of NR no bet clause , I had an unusual one Myself a few years ago when I had a 10ew double Cindersandashes @ 10-1 and Hunt Ball @ 8-1 , both won of course but I had clearly nominated Hunt Ball for another race , think it was the Byrne Plate ,He had been entered in 2 races at the time of me placing bet .

BetVictors NRFB doesn't cover multiples. Only NRNB does. I've had a couple myself. Rule The World and Last Instalment (still can't believe he's still 50/1 NRNB with them) ew double. Think over 20/1 about Sprinter Sacre, Bobs Worth & Annie Power (World Hurdle) treble is worth a nibble too and have done so. Doubts with two of them but again, using NRNB, unlikely they'll show up and not go very close.

You wont get a modicum of value now though on cheltenham prices as the big firms {and their lackies }will have trimmed their prices in accordance with their NR no bet rule which practically equates to the SP on the day
