This might be a better place for your question (moved from Digital Rights forum).

It is very difficult to tell anything from those photos other than it is likely gold plated rather than solid gold as it has a steel caseback.
To get any more info you will need to take photos which the text can be read on, front and back. Try taking the photos in better light, preferably daylight.

It is not likely worth a lot of money, based on the info provided.

To take decent pictures try using natural light, not a flash. And use the macro setting on your camera, that is the one with the flower icon.

I have used natural light but the writing doesn't come out clear.

OP, Don was a popular make of watch which I remember in the 60s and 70s. They were a mid-priced watch and I only ever remember seeing them on men with the large dial. I doubt that your watch is worth much.

Hi there, I have my father's Don watch. He got it for his confirmation back in the early/mid-1950s. Lawlor and Lawless on Wicklow Street replaced the glass for me about 7 years ago and gave it a service. (Don't think they're around any more though.)

I do't think it's worth much either. If it was, the watchmaker would have told me and it would have cost much more than 65eur to get it serviced and new glass put in.
