Getting to Maynooth

Hello all, my brother is travelling to Maynooth tomorrow and is wondering what the quickest way to get there is. He's travelling from Killiney and is planning to get the 145 to Heuston station, and from there get a Commuter.

Would I be right in thinking that a quicker way to do this is a DART to Dun Laoghaire and a Commuter from there? Is there a train that goes to Maynooth from there?

    Thanks in advance!

Avoid! There are no trains between Heuston and Maynooth. Use Connolly.

Put your exact locations and relevant dates and times into www.a-b.ie and tweak the settings. Select "take neighbouring stops into account for origin and destination maximum 20 min walk".
