I'm wondering if anyone remembers an Italian cafe/ chipper in Dun Laoghaire around the late 1950's? I'd love to know the name of the family that owned it!

There was a place called 'The Roman Cafe' on Georges Street in the block at the top of Marine Rd that was demolished to make way for the Shopping centre. It was run by a lady, who I think was a Macari. It had better icecream than Teddy's.
