    Hi, im new to this, but was wondering -

    Im still working fulltime at the moment, but am i able to claim tax back for the last 3 years that i have been working here? And if so, what is the steps i need to do to do so? I have my P60 for this year, but not for the last 2 years prior! Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance :)

    2. make sure you are claiming all the credits you are entittled to

    3. Request Balancing statements for each of the last 3 years

    Thanks :) One more question, how do i find out what im entitled too? Ive been renting on my own for the past 2 years, and was renting a room for 4 months! Have no medical or dental bills to date tho..

    Payeanytime will promt you through it and there are some vids
    I dont think you'll be able to claim rental

    make sure you have personal tax credit and paye tax credit

    As has been already said register for PAYE anytime and review each year yourself.

    However in general, unless one of the three below apply to you no refund of tax is due as your employer(s) are supposed to collect the correct amount of tax from you during the tax year under instruction from Revenue.

    1 You are claiming additional tax credits or reliefs (health exps, rent tax credit etc)
    2 You were on emgency tax or week one basis during the tax year and had not corrected it before the end of the tax year or the job ended.
    3 You changed jobs many timed during the year and/or had multiple employments during the year. This may have led you to being overtaxed.

    Please keep in mind there is also the possibility that you paid too little tax.
