    Im new to paypal, but made a paypal payment transaction ~27th dec without issue. I had the money in my paypal account, had transferred it ages ago, via a bank transfer.

    Im trying to make another payment at the min but paypal is giving me the following error "Your payment could not be completed". The only difference between this time and the last time is I don't have the money in my account. I was hoping to move onto the next step and enter my VISA debit card details.....

    Plenty money in bank account to cover this transation

    Am I doing something wrong here ? or is there a problem with my paypal account

    I have emailed paypal but haven't got a response yet........

    You need to link your paypal account and card before you draw straight from your bank. It's been a while since I've done this I'm not 100% on the details, but log into paypal, go to profile and then add edit credit card. There should be directions from there.
