Hi all, any ideas on how to fix a pinhole temporarily in a coolant pipe (rubber) as I can't get a new one until Monday. I'm losing a fair sup of coolant and I'm afraid I might damage the electrics. Thanks in advance

Would need pics and is it a rigid plastic pipe or a rubber hose?
    D'oh, just re-read your post.
You could try duct tape, but nothing will be a good substitute for having the pipe replaced.

    edit:
Patch repair kit for bicycle tires maybe?

I had a leaky hose a few months ago, a neighbour had a bit of braided hose pipe which I used to make a replacement. Still in use in my car today.

Thanks dr. I might go with the puncture repair kit with super glue and a shiit load of duct tape. Tried the duct tape on its own but it leaked again after 30 minutes.

Halfords sell a kit with self amalgamating tape and reinforcing mesh.

That sounds like a good idea, is it specifically for that type of job?
can it be used on the inner side of a 90 degree bend?

It is an emergency hose repair kit, but I haven't used one. Have used that self amalgamating tape on other things and I reckon it should be better than duct tape.
