Query re VW mechanic in Dublin for timing belt

Hi all, I was hoping you could help me. The timing belt on my 2 litre diesel golf needs replacing. I was quoted €580 including labour by my usual garage and €350-€450 by a couple of other dealers that I rang around.

Unfortunately not in a position to use either of the latter as I'm heading back to Dublin after the Christmas season so I was hoping somebody would be able to point me in the direction of a good mechanic who is not too expensive. Anywhere in/around D1/7/8/15/22/24 would suit if that helps.

The VW dealers were doing an offer on these for €349 all in. It would be worth checking a few to see if that price is still valid because you will find it very difficult to get an independent to match it.

That last one says the price is only valid up to 1.9 litre though

For a 1.9TDI you will find independents to beat the VW price. The 2.0TDI kit is a lot more expensive though. For example we need to charge €390 all in for them to make it worth our while.
