hi.looking at getting a car in the uk it is 2008 focus 1,8 tdci, has service history but it also has three owners the first owner had it for 4yrs, and then two owners in 11months, also when I googeled the dealer some negative reviews, done a cartel check which came back ok, I just have a doubt in my mind, plus I stupidly paid a deposit.

If you have doubts walk away, lots to choose from in the uk why on earth would you take a chance given the info you have provided.

There are a million Ford Focus diesels for sale in the UK. You can afford to be fussy if something doesn't seem right. Also would you not look for a 2.0 TDCi? A lot more reliable and more powerful than the 1.6 or 1.8 TDCi of that vintage.

There are over two hundred 2008 Focus diesels on Carzone. Surely it's not worth bothering making a trip to the UK for one?
