Ah that niggling feeling, amongst the blurry recollections of the drunken night out before, that you might have committed some social/actual atrocity in your inebriated state - rendering you incapable of looking at your phone or facebook!

    Anyone feeling it today?

    No.

I am over thirty now so I refrain from drinking myself into a heap.

It's new years day though- I'm sure its a common feeling.

Have a fry and a **** and a walk. In that order. If you do it the other way round you might get arrested.

Isn't the fear more the jumpy withdrawal symptoms from drink when you're lying in bed trying to get to sleep? Should kick in tomorrow night.

Whats the actual physical reasons for the fear? Is it some kind of gaba imbalance?

It can be both - and one can be bought on by another I believe!

No coz I clearly remember while giving my ex a hug and a kiss good night telling him "I love you". Oops.

It should be fine coz I know he knows I love him but am not IN love with him anymore and we are really good friends. Hope he takes it that way coz the last thing I want to do is hurt him again.

And to make things worse I wasn't all that drunk.

No I always have recollections of people gathered around me enthralled by my witty anecdotes and enchanted by the melodious tunes tripping off my tongue ( that I remember all the words to of course).
It the ha ha ha what were you up to texts and pics cause the fear :O !!

Lots of people have the fear today, I'd say, and they're all too busy cringing and worrying about what they did to remember what you did, OP. If so, no one will mention it -this is the Mutually Assured Destruction part of the cold war style paranoia of the bad hangover.

Sleep deprivation is the real driver of fear.

Alcohol is a depressant, also, not being 100% sure of knowing what you said or did is scary sh!t.
