    Hi guys,
My current dell laptop is 4 years old and want to upgrade. I'm thinking of a mac. I use my laptop for mostly personal stuff- browsing, emailing, banking and uploading pics. I won't be editing the next James Bond movie. I like the look and portability of the air but the reality is for the majority of it's use it will be on a table or edge of sofa. I'm being told you get more bang for your book with the pro. Not sure how important retina display is. Would love the opinion of people who know more than me?

    cheers

Sounds like a MAC would be overkill for your needs. Still, if you're not short on cash and like Apple products then why not :)
