I have no land-line installed in my new house, there never was a land-line installed.
What are my options to get broadband with average speeds? Would it cost much to install a land-line? I've been told to stay away from Vodafone and that UPC are quite good, can anyone give me some personnel feedback/experience of their broadband? Would it cost much more to get a land-line and broadband package than separately?

I am just outside the city near the airport.

    qsat

You must be kidding. If there is no other option possible available then maybe but if the OP lives in a broadband enabled area (seems they can get fibre) then there's no reason to go with qsat.

Nova broadband, fixed wireless provider, check their website for their map of availability

I got a quote from Vodafone before xmas for home broadband. I have no landline as mine is a relatively new house. They quoted me €32 per month incl vat for unlimited broadband. It includes connecting up the lines to the house and the modem. (modem free on 18 month contract). Thought it was very good value unless I'm missing something. (North Cork area, not urban)
