The house will be 130sq/m (2lv) equipped with gas.

I wish to install to udf heating on both level and an heat pump air to water....

So you'll have it all...solar, gas, ashp.

What heating requirment does your new build.? Or existing house require?

Ok so before you start building you will need an engineer to compete a provisional ber. The eng. using deap software will input you builds wall, roof, floors, windows and orientation into account giving you a calculation expressed in w/m*/year.

He will be able to calculate your heating load/demand! Then you can decide on what heating system or combination of heat scources that best suits your needs.

Imo with a house of 130mtrs* I would be trying to push for passive levels of construction. Insulate right and build air tight.

    +1
Also I'd be going for triple glazing, no thermal bridges, 0.1wm2k floor insulation for ufh, no drylining, no open fires etc before confirming heat sources

    Why have gas & HP?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the response.

To bring more light to the question, i am not designing the house as i am going to get a replica of the show house which has a A3 rating with the feature hilighted above. But instead of getting rads i am going to ask if possible or replace them by ufh.
Regarding 'why gas & HP' this is more about cost efficiency....

Why are you even considering putting in double glazed windows? Triple glazed is so much better and marginally more expensive

Hfallada, agree this is on my request list.
What I said earlier explain that some decision are nit in my hand :
