    Just a quick question!
    It's new years eve, are normal pubs open till after 12? Do they have an automatic late licence for tonight or do they just stay open? Am i gonna have bar/lounge staff shoutin at me t leave at 12.05? Cheers

    Tomorrow is a bank holiday which effectively means today is treated as a Saturday, so its 12.30 closing (officially)

    Daffys in Limerick on new years a few years ago closed at 5 am. They did ring the bell every 45 minutes, so we bought excess drinks every time not knowing was this the real closing time or not
