I like to pretend the top stem of the banana is a head and neck so I snap that back until the front bursts open and the insides protrude out

Eat it skin and all. Saves all the hassle of deciding which way to peel it each time.

I get a needle and around a 10 inch long piece of thread and pierce the skin with it, pushing the needle through just under the peel and pull it back out around an inch or so further around the outside, leaveing the thread inside. I then push the needle back in the hole I just pulled it out of and keep doing the same very thing again and again until I eventually pull the needle out the first whole I made.

I then grab both ends of the thread and pull until it's all removed. I do this in five or six places on the banana depending on the length of it. Then, when I'm finished and I peel it, it's already pre-sliced. A real time saver it is.

I have peeled bananas the 'proper' way - the monkey way - and the banana feels very top heavy when peeled this way.
