I'm currently looking for a place to live in Dublin, and transport is a big factor.I'll be working in Harcourt St up until September, then spending 9 months in Blackball Place near the Quays. Can anyone recommend any routes that serve both places?I know the 145 does off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's others too.

    Thanks in advance!

Assuming you mean Blackhall Place, then 37, 39 and 70 will suit. Check dublinbus.ie for details.

Don't forget the 39A as well. You can get those buses to St Stephens green.

Potentially walk down to the quays and you can get a load of buses there.

Put your exact locations (home and work) and relevant dates and times into www.a-b.ie and tweak the settings. Select "take neighbouring stops into account for origin and destination maximum 20 min walk".

Each of the 37, 39/39a and 70 serve Lower Leeson street and go to Blackhall Place.

Another option is the 83 and 83A. These leave you 3 minutes walk from Blackhall Place on Church Street and also serve Camden Street which will be handier if travelling to the top end of Harcourt Street compared to the 37/39/70 option.

Three minutes from Church Street to Blackhall Place is close to 7½ miles per hour. Not too many people walk that fast.
