excellent value considering the pc wireless adaptor is about 15 on its own..

Thanks for sharing. Do you then have to buy the Play and Charge Kit separate?

No, you dont have to buy that. I see a lot of people would have bought that, not realising its already included in the item the OP listed. I have one, have had it for a couple of years, it blows all other PC control pads out of the water, especially as pretty much every game is designed with it in mind. You can connect up to 4 controllers using the one USB interface, which is included.

    From the advert description
"The controller transmits its signals in the 2.4 GHz range over a distance of up to nine metres to the USB receiver included in the delivery"

By the way this is also a standard xbox 360 controller gen 2, and a separate usb wireless receiver. Its actually €5 cheaper than and xbox controller on it own, so is also decent value for xbox alone..

Hi and thanks for reply. I realise that it is wireless but does it come with the recharging kit so that there is no need to buy batteries or to use rechargeable batteries?

You need to buy batteries. I bought one of those packs that come with the charger and 4 AA batteries. The ones I bought were from Woodies and cost €7.99 on offer, the brand is Energizer.

I only use my controller for Sports games, but it lasts a long time and as the controller only uses 2 batteries, you always have a spare set fully charged up when you need to swap them.

Here is the exact pack I bought, although its a bit more expensive in Argos. Does the job and you will have many many hours from each set. http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/9805550/Trail/searchtext%3EBATTERY+CHARGER.htm
