Hi guys, just wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I've been having with my 02 Ford Focus car doors opening!

So the fob, died awhile back and I got battery replaced in it, but it doesn't work or click at all!! So I've been using the key to manually open and close the doors. That was fine for awhile but then the driver door wouldn't open with the key, it just won't turn! Passenger door doing the same aswell now. Would a bit of WD40 or something like that do the trick or could it be something bigger??

I can lock manually on both doors, but I can not open them at all. Any suggestions?

Bit of oil wouldn't do any harm.
You could get in by the boot too I suppose.
