Lenovo Android Tablet - Connecting to TV for NetFlix - Possible ??

    I have a lenovo tablet and am wondering if it is possible to get a cable that will connect to an old style Sony CRT TV - There is a micro USB port on the tablet and there are the "Yellow / White / Red" sockets on the TV

    I would like to be able to use the tablet to view NetFlix

    Is this possible ? Would the picture quality be okay ? I see cables on Ebay but don't want to buy anything until I figure out if it is a runner.

    I had a quick look and google didnt show up anything. im sure if you could find one it wouldnt cost that much say 2 euros max. so its nothing major, if you can find it. try it out. sorry I cant be more help

    aye digital to analog... not even sure if video willbe outputted through the port on the tab

    Ok Thanks - Luckily the cable was only a couple of €€€€

    It was for watching NetFlix on the TV

    What other options do I have ? I could get my hands on a Wii but I am useless with the controller.. Would I be able to hook up a keyboard / Mouse to the Wii ?

    Or what about a box like this - http://www.tvtrade.ie/android-box.html

    All suggestions greatly appreciated

    Definitely recommend a chromecast if you have a free HDMI slot. You can use the tablet to control it. Its a great little device.

    If it's an old CRT tv there won't be HDMI or USB ports on it.

    Some other options:

    1. If you have a pc or laptop it should be easy to hook that up using a cable to your yellow/white/red sockets.
    2. Alternatively you can perhaps get a cheap bluray player that has the netflix app as one of it's features (I have a sony one that has this for example).
    3. Got a streaming media player such as a roku box. These are available for less than €100 on Amazon. the one you link to above will work as well it seems, but I don't have any of these streaming media boxes so can't really recommend one over the other.

    The easiest one is to connect a computer via composite cable though if you have a pc/laptop.
